Since 2017, CIBC has awarded scholarships to students of the St. Francis Roman Catholic School for boys in Barbados. These scholarships are offered in the name of CIBC Caribbean’s longstanding Executive Chairman, Michael Mansoor. Mr. Mansoor, who along with our first CEO, Charles Pink, masterfully negotiated with governments and unions across the Caribbean, leading to the birth of the regional bank, credits his academic development to educational access provided by a Catholic School. It is for this reason that we offer scholarships to the students at Roman Catholic Schools in Barbados and Trinidad.
